Tenancies commenced from 1 July 2019 to the 30th June in 2021

  • Underfloor and ceiling insulation is mandatory throughout Taradale and New Zealand rental homes where it is reasonably practicable to put in.

If the living area already has a central heating source such as heat pumps, it could require an upgrade to ensure it meets the requirements. Certain types of heaters cannot be used to achieve the quality because they’re inefficient, unaffordable to operate or are unsafe to operate.
