Fines for Failing to Comply

As of 1st July 2021, once a new, renewed or varied tenancy is signed for a Meeanee rental property, all Healthy Homes compliance tasks have to be completed inside of 90 days.

Tenancies established beginning on 1 July 2019 and the 30th June in 2021

  • Insulation of the underfloor and ceiling is mandatory throughout Meeanee and New Zealand rental homes where it’s reasonably practicable to install.
